Refrigerator Repair NewarkHave you always wondered how your refrigerator works? If so it's your lucky day because we're going to share with you some basic fundamental. If you're calling us for help to repair your refrigerator, this little bit of information will help shed clarity upon what we are doing.
A refrigerator works though cycles which involve four components: #1 Refrigerant Fluid; #2 The compressor; #3 Condenser Coils and #4 Evaporator Coils. The refrigerant fluid is sent into the compressor which constricts it. This raises the pressure and pushes it into the coils to start the process of chilling the refrigerator. During the process of when the hot gas meets the cooler air outside, it instantly becomes a liquid. Since it's in a liquid form at high pressure it can now start to cool down as it flows into the freezer and fridge. This works because the refrigerant absorbs the heat inside the freezer and fridge. Once this happens the air inside is cooled down. After this happens the refrigerant turns into a gas and then flows back to the compressor. The process start all over again and that's how a refrigerator keeps you food nice and cold. |

Electric and Gas Stove Repair NewarkFor those with electric or gas stove, range problems please give us a call at 862-437-4804. For many year we've been fixing all kinds of makes and models of electric and gas stoves in Newark, New Jersey. Most repairs tend to be fairly cheap for stove tops and ranges. Weather it's your pilot light or electronic ignition system going out we have you covered.
We will first start out by explaining how a gas stove works and maybe after reading this you'll have an idea of what's not working. We also want you to know if it's a gas stove it's better if you have us come take a look at it. The worse thing to have with a gas stove is a gas leak. Now gas stoves tend to have two different types of ignition systems. One being a pilot light, and the other one being the electronic ignition system. The pilot light is easy to spot because it's the one that always has a blue flame burning. Pilot lights are often used in gas fire places. Since the blue flame is always on, the pilot light will use a lot more gas than an electronic ignition system. The electronic system will create a spark. If you have one of these you will hear a clicking noise when you turn on the burner. It basically has the same mechanism that lights a candlestick lighter if that helps. The electric stove is a totally different ball game. These types of stoves work by running electricity into a wire which is located inside coils on the cook top. You will know if you have an electric stove if the cook top is flat. Below the flat cook top our internal coils that sit right underneath where to pot would sit. The electric stove is turned on by turning the dial on the the stove which sends electricity flowing into the coils and heats up the metals. To know if the cook-top is hot is very simple, you will see it turn a bright orange color. This is a sign that lots of electricity is being sent into the coil. The coils get very hot at this time with all that electricity flowing into it. The more you turn the dial, the more electricity will enter into the coils. Electric stoves are also sometimes a simple fix. They also tend to be more expensive than gas stoves. For appliance repair options please give us a call today. |
